Performing Arts Winter Holidays Camp 



Join us for one or two weeks during your Winter Break for some fun exploring Winter Holiday themes through musical theatre, comedy and movement. We will be sampling lots of music, dance styles and comedy improv with some of our favorite instructors headed up by our own Allegra Williams, dee-Lightful staff choreographer/director.

2 weeks (based on the CCUSD calendar)

12/26 - 12/29, Tuesday - Friday (4 days)

1/2- 1/5, Tuesday - Friday (4 days) with showcase on 1/5 

Camp Hours: 9AM - 5PM

*Extended care will be available from 8 - 9AM & 5 - 6PM (additional fee)

There will be a casual showcase at the end of the second week on Jan. 5th

Fees: $240 per week (4-days)
Plus $25 materials fee (payable to dee-Lightful Productions)
Extended care fee: $40 per week 8-9 am and 5-6pm. 



Fall Workshop 2017

 
Directed by Dolores Aguanno, Assistant Directed & Choreographed by Allegra Williams.
Open to ages 7-17.  Limited enrollment. 

WORKSHOP & MATERIALS FEES
The total workshop cost is in two parts and must be paid to two separate entities:
Workshop tuition: $525 for CC residents, $536 for non-Culver City residents,
   payable to "City of Culver City" at the Parks & Rec office
Materials fee: $350 for everyone, non-refundable, 
   payable to "dee-Lightful Productions" and due at October 8 orientation
   Materials fee covers cost of scripts, music, some production costs, etc.

Total workshop cost for Culver City residents is $870
Total workshop cost for non-Culver City residents is $881
 
WORKSHOP HOURS & LOCATION
Regular workshop hours are 2:00-5:00 PM on Saturdays, beginning on October 14th
Plan for some additional rehearsals on Friday afternoons after school, and extended Saturday hours (1:00 to 2:00 and/or 5:00-6:00) as we approach the performances in February.
Rehearsals on Saturday afternoons are located at Culver West Alexander Park, 4162 Wade Street, in Culver City.
Rehearsals on weekday afternoons are located at the Veteran's Memorial Complex, 4117 Overland Ave, in Culver City.  

PERFORMANCE DATES
Performances will be on February 1-3rd, 2018
Please also note we will have extra rehearsals in the week leading up to the performances!

MANDATORY ORIENTATION & PRELIMINARY AUDITIONS
We will have a mandatory orientation for workshop participants and one parent or guardian on the first day, October 14th, starting at 2:00 PM. Materials fees are due at this time, please bring a check for $350 made out to "dee-Lightful Productions." The orientation will last for about an hour, after which parents may leave. Preliminary auditions for participants will be immediately following the orientation and are for placement only; everyone will be cast in the show!  Please plan to sing a verse of a song you are comfortable singing, we prefer songs from musicals, but the choice is up to you!
